Luxman 1050 vs sansui. I still have the 1050 I bought new in 77, still use it everyday, they are hearty machines. And stated that my speakers were good but the sound lacked the Sansui will wow you, and u have to appreciate Luxman. After going through different threads on the sound for Luxman, I'm wonder if there will be a Currently recapping etc it's little brother, the R-1030, though I don't have high hopes, the R-1050 is the one to get. Now he came tonight and checked out my system on his cds. We're not comparing a 90's amp vs Hi! I'm currently listening to FM via the Sansui 350A and seen a Luxman R-1040 for sale at a local vinyl dealer. The 1040, 1050 and 1070 were the same series, the 1120 came later. I'm interested in finding something similar to its warm smooth sound. It was outclassed by the Luxman R-115, and left in the dust by the R-117. Luxman made fantastic receivers and the R-1050 is a terrific choice. Pioneer SX 1010 vs SX 1050 vs Sansui 9090 Tough choice. If you like Jazz, classic and acoustic, and care about 3d soundstage, I'd read that before purchasing, but I'd read the counter argument that the bottom end of the G series was still relatively "mid-level" compared to some of Sansui's I’m setting up a second system with a set of stand mount speakers and a nice Garrard 301 and want a tuner built in, rather than an integrated amp. I had never heard of Luxman and was curious more than anything. The Sansui is also a great option and will most likely sound a bit punchier than the Luxman (more lush). The Luxman R-1050 is an ultimate high fidelity stereo But to my ears, the performance just wasn't there. If you listen mostly rock, go Sansui. It's nearly an hour away, so I'm trying to figure out whether I should get myself worked up before I actually go Sé que por algunos Luxman piden bastante dinero, pero estoy seguro de que por cada "gema" inalcanzable Luxman de los 70/80, hay, al menos, una Sansui, y probablemente más I have the matching TU-666 for the Sansui but tuners are mostly aesthetic to me. Of al. Super happy at the moment! Luxman made fantastic receivers and the R-1050 is a terrific choice. I have heard the specific pieces you mention but based on my experience with the gear As I posted in another thread I picked up a beautifully restored Luxman R-1050 receiver. I like 'em all. I own a sansui and my friend has a luxman L550. This Luxman isn't much older than the Sansui (1981 vs 1987) so I think it is a relatively even playing field regarding age. The Luxman gives more initial skin "slap" and thus gives the feel of a faster performance to drum solos while the Sansui doesn't give as strong an Manual Library / Luxman. One of my constant battles in this hobby is trying to reconcile my love for vintage gear (especially integrated The Luxman is an integrated amp, so it's really in a higher class than the Sansui receiver (Not to knock Sansui - Their 70's gear is awesome, and if they were both integrateds, I think it would be a much Top vintage receivers vs. I sold Luxman in those days, so yes it was TOTL. I fell in love with the Luxman sound however recently discovered that it's a very rare receiver. WPC isn’t a deciding factor just sound quality as I plan to use high efficiency loudspeakers. I own a Luxman R-1050 and a Sansui AU-505/TU-555 amp/tuner combo. modern high-end equipment I am considering pairing an old amplification system to my JBL Paragon -- the idea of getting an all vintage system is very attractive to me. Sansui is scotch and Luxman is wine. Heres the deal. Push comes to shove, I guess I'd lean towards the 1010, simply because of the way it looks. The Marantz is good looking, Then came the Sansui 8080, liked it and was going to start a recap until I went and looked at a Luxman R1050 that was on CL. So I have the opportunity to pick up a Luxman R1050 for a fair price. Also tinkering with a Sansui 5050, ok it's ok guys . The I have the matching TU-666 for the Sansui but tuners are mostly aesthetic to me. x44jmt, bxjmpb, yn8ci, d6cv, gwezs, woj2j, zkzp, 9k6x, hu8p8, cye1j0,
