  • Clique vs healbot. Grid2 has tons of I've never used Healbot, but I understand it's pretty similar. Much of your comfort level and by extension; proficiency will come when you really click with your various spells and when to use each one for They're all good, but if you use keybinds and want to feel like you're just playing WoW like you have been up until this point, you just need clique and the built in wow raid frames. Mouseovers macros have always felt super annoying to set up for Healbot isn't nearly as bad, but when ulduar dropped it wasn't working for me. However the main difference from what I've read is the level of flexibility you get with Grid + Clique. I've tried about every other option there is Grid+Clique, Vuhdo, etc. It's gone through a lot of changes but it's remained great. After all the hassle of healbot and vuhdo with the ulduar release I just swapped to clique and grid2. Healbot does make it pretty easy to get set up -- just bind the clicks and you're good to go. I started with Healbot back in the day. Healbot is good for starting out, but in the long run it will limit your potential, and will make you fall into healing traps, where you'd have to move and heal at the same time, and it is impossible to do Although I prefer using clique & grid2 addons to customize raid frames, add spell buffs & rebuffs, but also have mouseovers for healing. I could just as easily not use Healbot -- there'd be no change in my healing effectiveness -- but I would have to redo my entire action bar, making several of my easily pressable macros (such as Power I personally prefer Healbot for my Disco Priest, though I haven't extensively tried out Grid+Clique. The ONLY thing I don't like about it right now is that for some . I LOVE healing, mainly because each encounter can go differently, depending on who is taking damage when they're supposed to or not supposed to. Personally, I've used both elvui and grid and the only difference is the visual customization of each one. I have used Healbot on all my healing characters for over two years. Always end back up with Healbot because I can never get the other set up exactly the way I Elvui and grid provide the frames, clique provides the ability to bind spells to keys/mouse buttons.
